His debut album This Was Tomorrow took Seth Sentry to the forefront of Australian hip hop. Turning out hit single after hit single and earning him a gold record, an ARIA nomination, literally millions of YouTube views, and accolades like Channel [V] Artist Of The Year and being the first Australia hip hop artist to perform on a US talk show, when he appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Now at the beginning of 2016 and 6 months after the release of his critically acclaimed follow up album Strange New Past, Seth has barely had a moment to take it all in. The album has spawning 3 high rotation triple j singles, winning an AIR Award for Best Independent Hip Hop Album and an ARIA Award for Best Urban Release. The record breaking, 50 show Strange New Past Tour saw Seth spend four months playing in almost every capital city and regional centre in Australia.
Following on from a string of summer festival appearances, including the Falls Festivals and Summernats and with the 4th triple j single, 1969, gaining momentum on the airwaves, the stage is set for some big announcements in the months to come… stay tuned folks.
